Feeling the nature with your heart
Pollution appears in different forms including the air we breathe, the water we drink, the soil we grow our food on and even the increasing noise we hear every day. All kinds of pollution have a bad influence on our health and harmful effects on wildlife and ecosystems. One of the biggest problems that the world is facing today is that environmental pollution is causing grave and irreparable damages to the natural world. We must face this serious problem.
Shing Mun Reservoir and Cheung Sha Beach are places where I enjoyed visiting when I was a little girl. I have the impression that these places used to be beautiful and clean, but what about now? Nowadays, humans are destroying the nature through different kinds of pollution. At present, hiking and swimming are very popular activities in Hong Kong. However, Hong Kong people do not really enjoy the charm of the nature. Most of them enjoy hiking and swimming but they would leave rubbish anywhere in the hills and on the beach. I find that I cannot enjoy these places anymore because most of them are being destroyed. I could only imagine what the scenery, sound, and everything used to be.
