PROJECT BACKGROUND
Many young working people find their dreams colliding with their day jobs. Therefore, ‘BGCA CARE Basketball League U25’ (U25) is a great platform for those people to keep their basketball dream moving. U25, a funded programme developed by The Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong, allows basketball-loving young working people to regain the fun of sports and to ease life pressure. A greater publicity plan is, therefore, needed to recruit prospects for U25.
PROJECT CONCEPT
Through this project, interviews will be conducted with the representative of‘BGCA CARE Basketball League U25’ in order to know more about the programme. Interviews will also be conducted with two basketball lovers who are young working people, so that they can get tips for keeping their basketball dream going while having a day job.
Feature stories with human-interest angles will be written for the three interviewees. A short video featuring the three interviewees will also be made. Feature stories and short-videos are planned to be launched on various social media platforms to reach young working people who are basketball lovers, with an aim to encourage them to join U25.
