The School of Fashion encompasses all aspects of the fashion industry from design, textiles, atelier and hand embroidery to marketing, management, promotion, media, image making, journalism and retail. Academic staff of the School are practitioners at a high-level in the fashion industry and researchers of their practice.
BA (Hons) Fashion Promotion and Imaging is a dynamic programme that encourages a balance of skills. Lecturers bring with them a wealth of knowledge about current industry practice as well as giving this programme the dynamism that inevitably drives its pace in the ever-changing nature of fashion communication. Embedded in the School of Fashion at University for the Creative Arts (UCA), the unique selling point of this programme is the image-making specialism which works within the areas of graphics, film and printmaking. Increased participation and engagement with industry is likely to increase students’ chances of gaining employment at the end of the programme.
